The HRHA Annual Picnic in the Park is Saturday, September 10th, 4-7pm. Join us for food and friendship and meet some new neighbors.
Please SLOW DOWN and remind new drivers that the speed limit in the neighborhood is 25mph.
If you and your family use the Hunter’s Ridge Park, please clean up after yourselves and your pets. Teenagers need to know they should not be damaging any play equipment or property when playing or hanging out in the park. This was a problem last year. The park closes at dusk.
Roof mold has been a problem for some neighbors. They found black mold in their attics because vents were not placed correctly by Platinum Roofing Co.
Call Platinum if have this problem.
It’s Spring and the bears are back! It has been suggested to wash trash cans with bleach… the bears don’t like the smell.
Bears have been seen in our neighborhood on several occasions. Last Summer there was one walking down 46th Street in the evening. Some neighbors have seen bears in the morning and evening near the park and the front cul de sacs.
The bears are interested in garbage cans, bird feeders, fruit trees… things like that. We live in a rural, wooded area so wildlife is always around.
Our kids walk to school and wait at bus stops so please tell them to be on the look out and know how to react if a bear is seen. Be careful out there!
