Please Drive Carefully & Respect our Park
Please SLOW DOWN and remind new drivers that the speed limit in the neighborhood is 25 mph.
If you and your family use the Hunter’s Ridge Park, please clean up after yourselves and your pets. Teenagers need to know they should not be damaging any play equipment or property when hanging out in the park. This has been a problem in years past. Please play safe and remember, the park is there for all Hunters Ridge residents and their guests. The park closes at dusk.
Beware of Bears
It’s Spring and the bears are back! It has been suggested to wash trash cans with bleach… the bears don’t like the smell.
Bears have been seen in our neighborhood on several occasions. Some neighbors have seen bears in the morning and evening near the park and the front cul de sacs.
The bears are interested in garbage cans, bird feeders, fruit trees… things like that. We live in a rural, wooded area so wildlife is always around.
Our kids walk to school and wait at bus stops so please tell them to be on the look out and know how to react if a bear is seen. Be careful out there!
